MEET AMBROGIO
Ambrogio was born in Milan. Aged just 14, he headed to the island of Sardinia to try his hand as a sailor. The rest, as they say, is history. By 2019, he’d already picked up a win at the Mini-Transat, which earned him the prestigious title of “Sailor of the Year” for two years running.
His boat, Alla Grande-Pirelli is a Class40 that takes pride in its simplicity, featuring neither a foil system or canting keel. Because sometimes going back to basics is what it’s all about.
